STORIES

Blood Memory

The novel behind the upcoming feature film.

Some stories begin with a single image.

For Blood Memory, it was a question.

What if the past isn't gone? What if it lives inside us... waiting?

Blood Memory is an original supernatural thriller currently being developed both as a novel and as a feature film. Rather than adapting one into the other, both projects are being created side by side, allowing the story to grow across two different formats while sharing the same emotional core.

Set in contemporary Sweden, the story follows ordinary people who discover that some family secrets refuse to stay buried. As reality slowly fractures, the line between memory, inheritance and something far older begins to disappear.

The project combines psychological suspense, Nordic atmosphere and supernatural horror, placing character and mystery above spectacle. Every revelation raises a new question, leading toward a mystery that reaches far beyond a single family.

The feature film is currently in development, with a completed teaser trailer and an international pitch package already produced.

For Bhengaali Studio, Blood Memory represents another step beyond music—into cinematic storytelling where sound, image and narrative become one.

Because some stories deserve more than one way to be told.

One notebook.
One wish.
Unlimited consequences.

Anton's begins with a notebook.

Anton is eleven years old, goes to an ordinary school and would much rather make people laugh than become a hero. But when the stories he writes begin to influence the world around him, ordinary days suddenly become anything but ordinary.

What starts with a simple idea quickly turns into something far bigger than he ever imagined.

Friendships are tested.

New enemies appear.

And one notebook may hold more power than anyone should have.

Nuggetkungen is the first book in a humorous middle-grade adventure series that blends everyday school life with mystery, imagination and unexpected consequences. It's a story about friendship, courage and discovering that even the smallest choices can change everything.

Written for readers aged 9–12, the book mixes fast-paced adventure with humour, warmth and just enough mystery to keep the pages turning.

The book will be published by Hegas, one of Sweden's leading publishers of accessible books for children and young readers.

Sometimes the greatest adventures don't begin in distant kingdoms.

Sometimes they begin in an ordinary classroom.

Status: Scheduled for publication in February 2027.

Befrielseboken

A humorous guide to lowering your expectations.

Some books promise to change your life.

This one might simply help you relax.

Befrielseboken is a collection of short, illustrated reflections about modern life, impossible expectations and our endless search for self-improvement.

Why do we always feel the need to become a better version of ourselves?

What if the version we already are is perfectly fine?

With warmth, irony and plenty of self-distance, the book takes a playful look at productivity culture, life hacks, social media pressure and our strange obsession with becoming happier, healthier and more successful.

Not by preaching.

By laughing.

Because sometimes the most liberating thing you can do...

...is stop trying so hard.
